888 PokerThis has been breaking news that has hard hit all Mexican poker players who were making use of the 888 Poker Network. The poker network has decided to cease its operation in the Mexican Market and it is still not clear for the cause of such a move. According to Professional RakeBack (PROFRB), it is well aware that the current Mexican laws would not have contributed to the move.

According to sources, Mexican players started receiving strange email messages from 888 Poker as from May 14th, 2014. Players received emails of cashouts being processed and players started panicking suspecting their accounts to have been hacked. Most players reported that their entire account balances had been sent off for withdrawal without their permission and this only happened to most residents in the United States of America residing in Mexico marking it the Black-Friday.

Not only are 888 Poker accounts with Mexican address information being closed but also to include Play848 and LuckyAce accounts are being closed too. Information has not been released why 888 Poker has made such a move and PROFRB is still waiting for information from the 888’s Poker representative.

Players did not receive a notice regarding the closure of their accounts but only received the following email from 888 Poker:
